Due to popular demand this practical based course has been designed to help schools develop their own "Learning to Learn" programmes. Learning skills such as thinking skills, listening skills, concentration, memory techniques etc will be highlighted and recommended as a basis for schemes of work in your own school-based courses.
The day will focus on how to plan and teach these skills and create a climate of learning supported by practical examples. The course leaders will provide their tried and tested activities. One outcome from the day will be a set of skills and activities for use within your own dedicated "Learning to Learn" programmes.
