Course Leader The course will be led by Chris Haines who is a full time trainer . He has a background in school improvement and leading on learning. He works closely with many schools on improving teaching and learning in the classroom and the leadership of learning across the school. He is an expert on learning, assessment, leadership and school improvement . He has worked extensively in developing the coaching skills team leaders need for performance management. He has recently been coaching teachers on structuring lessons that are more interactive with students. He is working to be a fully qualified coach. |

Schools improve when individual teachers change their behaviour, attitudes and beliefs. Such changes often cannot be imposed but are fostered through collaboration, mentoring, peer coaching and meaningful debate among teachers about classroom practice. This rationale will be a constant feature throughout the day using tactics and methods which move staff through a process which builds self esteem and develops the individual's capacity to change and improve.
