Trainer

Clare Haines is a part time teacher in an all age all purpose Special School mainly working with students with Autism. Until 2002 she worked in a large mainstream secondary school as a SENCO. She worked with a range of students including Tourettes. She provides a range of common sense approaches in a sensitive and realistic way.  You will gain from her experience and go away with plenty to put into practice immediately.

Course Information


This course is for staff in mainstream and special schools. It will explore aspects of Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Aspergers and Tourettes will be used as examples of students with communication difficulties. It will provide ideas to meet students' emotional and cognitive needs.
